Exchange Hybrid is required for Teams integration

Question

Hi Community,&nbsp;Do we need Exchange Hybrid to experience full Teams integrated experience with Exchange on-prem 2016 environment? (or)&nbsp;Is that okay if we just enable OAuthentication between Exchange on-prem and Online?&nbsp;Please advise. Many thanks.&nbsp;
