Exchange Hybrid is required for Teams integration

Hi Community,

 

Do we need Exchange Hybrid to experience full Teams integrated experience with Exchange on-prem 2016 environment? (or)

 

Is that okay if we just enable OAuthentication between Exchange on-prem and Online?
