Excel Dates
Today, January 9, 2019.
When I open a new workbook, go to cell A1, enter 1/9,
the cell shows 9-Jan
How do I change this?
I am NOT talking about the format cells path.
How do I declare how I want the date to be displayed by default?

tlclear8W- I may be wrong, but I think the reason you are getting a lot of views and not many answers is that the only way to determine that is to use the "Format Cells..." -> "Custom" -> "dd/mm/yyyy" (or similar), which you seem to have ruled out. Best regards, Tony
