Electrical Connector Junction or Node

Hi,

I was wondering where the option to enable connector junctions for electrical engineering diagrams. It is enabled for some of the templates, and when I tested it last week, any new connector branches would automatically add in a node (see attached images), though it doesn't work now. By default this is turned off, and I have been looking for hours to turn this on.
