Dynamic footer text in PowerPoint

I am looking to automatically populate the footer of a template with either the document title or the text from the first page. As this is for an organization, adding a styled footer needs to be simple and ideally automatic. I see that page number is referred to as "<#>" by PowerPoint, which calls and inserts the current page number dynamically. Is there any such reference for the document title? 

If not, are there any other simple solutions for use in a template by an organization?
