Do public Microsoft 365 groups need an owner?
I was just wondering why a public Microsoft 365 group should have an owner? It is of course clear, that private groups need owners to handle permissions and group memberships... but what is the diffe...

David_Elsner Hello, yes there are differences (e.g. full access control). But instead of writing a long reply I'm just going to link to this excellent support page. Note the highlighted "create, use and manage" tabs as well. Hope it helps making things more clear.
