Deleting Meeting on Iphone Calendar does NOT send cancellation to invitees or remove from my Exchang

When I cancel a meeting I organized on my Iphone's calendar, it does not send the cancellation to invitees and does not cancel the meeting from my Exchange calendar when viewing it in the Office 365 Outlook program.

This is new.  I changed to O365 a few months ago but I don't recall if this issue started then or not.  I know that in the past, I could delete a meeting and the invitees would get a cancellation.

Do I have a setting incorrect or is this an O365 issue?
