Create Office 365 Developer tenant

I'm trying to create an Office 365 developer as described https://dev.office.com/sharepoint/docs/spfx/set-up-your-developer-tenant without any luck. There's no email sent back to my after registration and I can't find any more information about this online.

 

I have an MSDN subscription and I'm also a Global Admin of my company's production tenenat.

 

Any suggestions?

    What is the exact problem you are not able to create the sitecollection or you are not able to create the workbench or...

      I have created a developer site collection. But the tutorial explicitly states that I need a developer tenant, not just a sc. Tried getting the workbench to work on the developer sc without any luck. But is this possible?

        You need an Office 365 Developer subscription, but must be a new one and them you need a developer site
