Contact list sync with Calendar issues.

We have a company contact list, We update users birthday, anniversary there and check the birthdays on the Calendar to see what event is coming up. We are having the below issues. 
1.

Problem: When an contact's company field is updated on the contact list. Sometimes the calendar is pulling the company name and appending to the end of the name at random.

Question: Where does Calendar pull the information from? 

2.

Problem: When a contact list is updated. example: Birthday and Anniversary is removed. On the Calendar, It will remove the anniversary entry but will keep the birthday entry?
Fix is to go to birthday entry on the calendar and remove the series. But this is annoying as we have 100s of contacts and we use the calendar to keep their Birthday's and Anniverary
reminders.
