Can ad another user contacts to my Outlook without user granting permissions for this.
Hi,
I am able to add anither persons contacts to my outlook profile. I checked their permissions and it is not enabled (being shared) for me to do this.
Anyone have an idea of whay this could be happening?
Thanks.

Dear Rick,
yes you can create a local contact and also local group in your outlook, you have the only acccess to send emails to that local group.
- Rick PorcaroCopper ContributorThe problem is that a person can add another users contacts into their Outlook profile without the users permissions enabled. The other user is not allowing this access but the person can still add their contacts Thanks, Rick

Yes, do some test from your outlook.
create one test contact with your personal ID or your collegue ID.
You can able to see that contact only in your outlook and while sending email or replying to that ID you can see that created contact details with Disaplay Name, but it is only available for you.
If you are replied from contact(personal ID), you cant able to see created contact details.
