Any Year Monthly Calendar Template

Hello,  I have been trying to set up a new monthly calendar for 2022.  I am using the "Any Year" Monthly Calendar Template but it will not allow me to change dates and years.  When I click on the calendar icon on my ribbon, nothing happens.  The only calendar template that works is the 1 Month calendar.  Has anyone had this problem?  I have searched online and have found absolutely nothing regarding this issue.  Any help is appreciated ... thanks.
