Add-In Error when installing an Office Add-In from Store

When in Powerpoint > Mix, From the Quizzes, Videos, Apps tile - when attempting to load an Office Add-in from the store I repeatedly receive an error "This Add-In Could not be started. Close the dialog....."

 

We are on Windows 10, Office 2016, 32Bit.  Any clues.?  Thanks.

  • I have just tried the Add-In install from a personal Windows 10 PC on my home network.   I get a very different result from my domain based, managed Windows 10 device on our work network.

     

    At home I get the following:
    1. choose the add-in.
    2. Prompted to Sign In to the Store
    3. Try using my School (O365) Credentials - NO GO
    4. I'm prompted to add another account.
    5. I add my domestic Microsoft Account and Log In
    6. Add-In installs instantly.

     

    Any ideas what may be blocking steps 2 and 4?  I don't think it is our firewall/filter.

  • A little more information.  We are also getting Store errors associated with out O365 tenant login names.

    It is almost as if Office Mix does not recognise our O365 identities; instead, wanting to use standard domestic Microsoft Office Accounts?

     

    Could this be a factor?
