Organization analytics licensing needs
Hello,
Our organization has the Viva insights license included with E5 plan assigned to all users for several months already.
4 days ago I purchased a premium Viva Insights license and assigned it to one account with business leader and analyst roles. However that account cannot see anything different in the insights app (only sees personal analytics) and in the advanced analytics app it tells that 10 licenses must be assigned before using the system.
Does this mean that the Viva insights license included with E5 is not sufficient to get organization wide analytics and that all employees must have a premium license as well?

- To elaborate on Ahmed's post. You will need the premium license for every employee you wish to measure as the license is the trigger to gather data be used in reporting. 10 is the minimum threshold for privacy purposes.

The Viva Insights license included with E5 plan only provides personal insights for employees, which are available in Microsoft Teams and on the web. To access premium personal insights, manager insights, leader insights, and advanced insights, you need to purchase a separate Viva Insights license.
