WOPI for customers
We plan to integrate WOPI in our application which is broadly used by customers. No I suppose that we have to use own Microsoft licenses to enable view and edit functionality or is there a way to us...

That is correct, I suppose it is connected to the fact, that this is a description om implementing OnlyOffice, which needs a specific license as well.
I am pretty sure, there is a need for a license to open any office file in "office for the web". But as I said, I am not sure if there is a way to use our customers "external" licenses.
