Questions on Defender for Identity

Hi, 

 

I have a few questions.

 

  1. Is it possible to set up Defender for Identity under E3 licensing?
  2. when office is set up with defender for identity, is it possible to add an employee's personal laptop under Defender for Identity set up?

    dolyinnewton Hello,

     

    you can use Defender for Identity if you have M365 E5 Security addon, which can be added to E3 licenses.

    Defender for Identity is desgined for check domain controllers authentication traffic, not laptops.
