Yep, that's only a verification. After uploading necessary documents account has been approved again.
I’d probably treat this as a verification check rather than assume something is wrong with the tenant. Nonprofit status may need to be confirmed again from time to time, even when nothing has changed. I’d follow the portal’s instructions and see whether Microsoft provides a specific reason.
