We're having this issue (Black screen on logout) even on the 2210 hotfix 1.

Does anyone know if there's another fix besides rolling back or the registry changes that are suggested by the other replies?

  We've found the issue was the storage account being in a different region than the host and that was causing a delay in the logoff.
  When we put the storage account in the same region, the log-off was back down to 5-10 seconds.
