Different version of profile software and app masking software on same server

Hello everyone. I have version 2.9.7654.46150 installed on our server for profile and office containers. I know its old, but its been stable for us and we have been very nervous updating.

We now have a need to install the app masking feature and I can't find our install of the version above. Is it possible to keep the above version for the profiles and install the newer version for the app masking or should they all be on the same version?
