What is going on with Microsoft support?

Support requests used to be resolved quickly and efficiently with knowledgeable agents calling within 20-30 minutes of opening a case.

But early this week I opened a support ticket at about 10 AM my time.  At about 5 AM the next day a support agent called while I was asleep.  I sent a reply to their email and in response received a generic and unhelpful reply.  I have not heard from that agent again.  That ticket remains open.

I opened a new ticket about 25 hours ago.  That ticket has yet to be assigned an agent.

I agree it has become terrible. I setup a support case in my tenant a few weeks ago and clicked the button for a call back. 8 hours later I get an email from the agent asking what the problem is.

That is much better than the support ticket that took over a week to have them say "We have also tried to connect with other agent within your time zone, but this usually take up to 48-72 hours before we might get one."

This was for a North American time zone.

After I week I gave up.
  • Microsoft has more important things to do than fix problems with its software, or help you with any issues you may have. NOTEPAD NEEDS AI!

I laughed at your wit. And then I cried in frustration at Microsoft. 😁
