Room Finder Equipment Booking Suggestion
The modern Room Finder has been a great improvement and utilising the Workspace feature has been useful to make clear separations between desk/workspaces vs rooms:
One feature that I would love to see is the inclusion of Equipment mailbox types too. We currently utilise 3rd party tools to sync equipment type mailboxes and allow booking via Outlook with addons but it would be great to have this functionality baked into Outlook as it is a "type" feature of Exchange.
I guess the tool would be "Resource Finder" instead of "Room Finder" (which arguably it already is with the addition of Workspaces) and there would have to be a slight difference in how it adds the resource (as equipment is only added to the required field not the location field). If you could then create a "room list" (again "resource list" might be a better name) that has equipment mailboxes it would integrate seamlessly into Outlook.
I would be interested to know how others have come up with solutions for equipment booking in Outlook (or other tools).
