Outlook Search Folder for External Senders

I'm using the Outlook M365 desktop app on the current channel and Exchnage 2019 in Hybrid mode with Exchange Online. We route all mail inbound and outbound via Exchange Server. I'd like to create a search folder in Outlook to show only mails from external senders. The issue is the only criteria I can seem to create would rely on the From field and this seems to map to the SenderName on the MailItem object in Outlook. This is not the actual sender's mail address that would include the @domain etc but rather seems to be the senders name which is arbitrary from I can see e.g SomeSender.

How to create a search folder based on the senders actual address?

  • Outlook Search Folders can’t filter by sender email address, only by sender name. To see only external emails, use rules to move messages from outside your domain to a folder, or use Advanced Search to filter by sender’s email manually. Exchange transport rules can also help tag or organize external emails.

in the new outlook, the search folder is not very powerful. In the legacy outlook the search folder could have very complex search. Now you can't even have keyword in the search folder. Is there an post somewhere where people vote for wanted features?

This might be a double post, but my comment does not show

asked for a search not a rule. What you are proposing as been proposed in every single post where people needs to have a search folder. It's close, but it's not responding to the need and I don't believe anything respond to the need with the new outlook. Legacy outlook can create complex search folder and it would take seconds to create that search folder. Hopefully microsoft will enhance the search folder, but I can't see it on the roadmap for Outlook at all

I wish people would stop proposing this option as it's not a solution to what shocko asked. He did not asked for a rule, but for a search. I've seen this answer way too many times. It does not respond to the need. The search folder is very very simplistic and lacks a lot compared to what we have in the legacy outlook. You can't combine rules, you can't even add keywords. Keywords would be pretty basic.
