Hybrid Exchange 2010 upgrade to 2016

I am currently in configuration of the Exchange 2016 servers. In the Exchange Deployment Assistant, the current step instructs to install Office Online Server. Is this piece necessary for the hybrid server if all of our mailboxes are in the cloud?
