Add internal email phishing report
Hi Loc_A,
To add a custom button in Outlook for reporting phishing emails internally, follow these steps:
- On your Outlook app, right click on the Home tab and select Customize the Ribbon.
- Under the Choose commands from, select All Commands..
- Select Phishing, click Add and click OK.
This will add a new button to your Outlook ribbon, allowing you to mark emails as phishing within your Outlook client.
To forward the reported emails to an internal address, you can create a "Quick Step" as follows:
- Navigate to "Home" > "Quick Steps" > "New Quick Step" > "Forward To."
- Choose the internal email address for forwarding phishing emails.
- Name the Quick Step (e.g., "Report Phishing") and click "Finish."
Now, when you select an email and use the "Report Phishing" Quick Step, it will be automatically forwarded to the specified internal email address.
*These instructions are for the Outlook desktop client.
