X-axis data is not showing the bound when data are numbers.
Thanks, The chart in that workbook is a line chart, so you don't get to change the scale of the x-axis.
If you change it to an XY scatter chart, that will become possible.

I suspect that the chart at the top in your post is a line chart, while the one at the bottom is a XY scatter chart.
The x-axis of a line chart is categoric, and the x-axis of a XY scatter chart is numeric (scalar).

it is the same chart and i made sure it is a line chart
the original file is from excel 2013 and it works there.
Could you attach a small sample workbook demonstrating the problem (without sensitive data), or if that is not possible, make it available through OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox or similar?
