Why is creating a graph so clunky and why hasn't it improved in the last 20 years?
I have a table with columns for:-
Male or Female
Age
World Record Time
I want to plot a line graph plotting Age along the X axis and Time along the Y axis, with one line for Male scores and one line for Female scores.
Is the process as clunky and counter-intuitive as it looks (with the need to "select data sources" from "chart data ranges" by reference to "Legend Entries(Series)" and only being able to Edit "Horizontal (Category) Axis Labels"? - This is what I remember Excel looking like 20 odd years ago.
Or, is there a way of asking Excel to plot Column B against Column C, splitting the figures by criteria in column C?
