Who knows how do i add subtotals in the online app?
Im doing a course that is teaching righ now but in the web version doesnt apper to me the button to make subtotals
The web version of Excel (Excel for the web) has limited functionality compared to the desktop version, and one of the missing features is the Subtotal function, which isn't available in the online app.
By limiting some advanced features in Excel for the web, Microsoft encourages users who need more complex tools to switch to the desktop app where these functionalities are fully supported. This helps them maintain a clear division between basic and advanced use cases.
Excel for the web is improving over time, but many advanced data processing features like Subtotals remain a desktop-only feature due to these reasons.
