Hi,

VBA is an essential part of the Office suite!

So it can't be replaced easily.

VBA will stay for a very long time because of the enormous macros and projects written in it.
It lives in millions of workbooks, so I don't think Microsoft will dare break them all.

Excel team might add Python along with VBA as an additional option.
