in Excel for mac, how can I increase cell value by 1?
Duh! True, false cells dynamic & "copy" creates new true, false. Ok if row member of separate table entries but need "$" if row member subsequent iteration.. Thank you.
OK. I think your explanation needs an explanation. I'm sure it's clear to you, but reading it makes me feel as if I've dropped in on the middle of a technical conversation and missed all that had gone before.

In other words, you're assuming that there's something crystal clear here, and I'm scratching my head trying to figure out what your cryptic messages are describing.
Maybe you could attach a workbook that demonstrates the issue.
- if I conclude a team has won its current game w/a "W" in cell A, how can I increase the value in cell B to denote cumulative wins? Likewise, if cell A contains "L", increase the value in cell C to denote cumulative losses?
