in Excel for mac, how can I increase cell value by 1?
How does the value get there in the first place? Add 1 to whatever the formula is.
But basically, what I'm saying is you need to give us a bit more context. The answer seems so obvious that it's hard to understand why you're even asking, and finding out that requires you to tell us more,

Duh! True, false cells dynamic & "copy" creates new true, false. Ok if row member of separate table entries but need "$" if row member subsequent iteration.. Thank you.
- OK. I think your explanation needs an explanation. I'm sure it's clear to you, but reading it makes me feel as if I've dropped in on the middle of a technical conversation and missed all that had gone before.

In other words, you're assuming that there's something crystal clear here, and I'm scratching my head trying to figure out what your cryptic messages are describing.
