Use selected slicer values as column headers

Hello!

Does anyone know how to use slicer values as column headers?  I have a pivot table with slicers on one worksheet, and on a new worksheet, I want to display the selected slicer in a column as a header.  For example, on the pivot table worksheet with slicers, I select "December" from the Month slicer, and "2016" from the Year slicer.  I'd like for those two values to display in separate columns on a new worksheet.  I tried using this formula in a cell =Slicer_Master_Date.Month but the cell returns a blank.  The column headers ideally would dynamically update if a user changes the slicer from the pivot table worksheet.
