Unable to import the excel file into Access

When I try to import an excel file, I get the below error,

"The wizard is unable to access information in the file '<file_path>.xls. 
Please check that the file exists and is in the correct format." 

 

When I open that file in excel and just save without any changes, then I was able to import the file into Access.

 

I'm attaching the excel file which I'm unable to import into Access. Please check what's the issue with it.
