unable to AutoSave

The AutoSave fonction is greyed out and i'm unable to turn it on.  I have Office365 version 1808. I tried to udpate my version and server says it's updated.

    Where is the file in question stored? It has to be either on Sharepoint or in OneDrive for Autosave to be enabled.
