Translate excel formulas from Swedish to English

Thanks. I was hoping there was a setting or import I could do since the spreadsheet has several thousand formulas of different kinds.
- JamilApr 09, 2018Bronze ContributorExcel stores native formulas in the file regardless of locale language setting. a file saved in Excel with Swedish locale setting, should normally open in Excel with English regional language setting and the functions should not have any issue. sometimes the functions would not convert, if the file is opened in protected mode.
If the issue still persists then your Excel workbook may not have hundreds of different functions used.
so lets say that a Excel function "SEARCH" in Swedish "SÖK" and you still see the Swedish function name instead of the English one, then you can use the FIND&REPLACE to replace the functions back to English. below link gives the list of Swedish and English excel function names.

The only logical exceptions is formulas within INDIRECT()
