Transfer of worksheet data to a MS Access database for later analysis
If I am in the wrong area/group here, just tell me. Signed up this morning!
I am no 'techy' on computers, so I could do with some assistance.
It is eleven years since I last set worked intensively with MS Excel.
Things have moved on!
Back in 2001, I was able to set up a link between a TEMPLATE worksheet in MS Excel and an Access database.
If the worksheet was filled out by the office salesperson, it could be saved as a standard office document (eg: Quotation, Purchase Order), and selected cells' data could at the same time be stored in a pre-linked database.
Is this still possible?

- Hi Grant, linking between Access and Excel is still possible, as is creating user friendly interfaces in Access to avoid the need to link
Also with the advent of Power Query it is relatively straightforward to consolidate multiple Excel templates into a single Excel Table.
Lots of options available
