Tilde not working to replace asterisk?

Question

I'm not sure if using the tilde followed by the asterisk no longer works to find and replace the asterisk, or if I have something set weird.

I am pretty sure I've always used ~* when wanting to find and replace an * but now Excel gives the error that "There's a problem with this formula".

Is there another easy way to do it?

I'm just talking about the Find and Replace&nbsp;I want to change the "*" in every selected cell temporarily to "ast".

Actually that answered the question haha&nbsp;I had to change the "=" to "eql" first so it wasnt trying to make it a formula.&nbsp;Thanks!
