Summarise Data

Hi,

Please see screen shot of attached data. I need to find a way to summarize the values in the column 'Sum of Total RC Metre Rate Calculation." I need to summarize these values per each "DRILLINGDATE" (at a minimum), and if possible also summarize based on "Drill_Rig." 
The idea behind this is to calculate the total of "Sum of Total RC Metre Rate Calculation" per day and per rig and compare this value to the "Sum of Total RC Slow Pen Cost" and then run an if function to determine which is the larger value and use that. I understand this is really easy to do using pivot tables but I need to perform this same function in power bi so would like to use a formula to solve this.
