I think you can just have a look up for your drop down. i.e. dropdown value in column A, Start Date in Column B. End Date in Column C. Then when you change the drop down two cells will change to the correct dates. These two dates can then be incorporated into the criteria for your formula in the data table. (Please see attached file for reference)
