- JoeUser2004Bronze ContributorAs the SIN help page explains (hint!), the parameter is in radians. If 45 is degrees, you should write SIN(RADIANS(45)), following an example in the help page.

Shall be about 0.851 for the sinus of 45 radians.

If I have a radius and a degree
I want to find the chord
the formula is
Degree / 2 sin * radius * 2

Could be like
=SIN(RADIANS(45))
