Security risk - Microsoft has blocked macros

I suspect the VBA project of the files was signed with a digital signature which hasn't been time-stamped. If that signature expires, Excel will refuse to enable the macros.
- Open the file
- Open the VBA Editor (alt+F11)
- Click on the name of the project in the Project Explorer
- From the Menu, choose Tools, Digital Signature
- Click Remove
- Click OK
- Close the VBA Editor
- Save the file
- Close it and open it again.
