save and print options

Just recently any of the save and print buttons aren't highlighted to be able to use on any worksheet that I pull up. This is under all areas of the ribbon or drop downs.

I have a MAC computer with Excel 2016.

I've tried copying excel worksheet tabs to new book and the new book also doesn't all this ability.
