return other than text

Hi,

 

If I have this formula how do I get the W to not nest or return as text so a vlookup can read it?

 

=IFS(PROGRAM!M5=4,"W")

    Can you please elaborate what s is you are trying to do? Right now, you get the W if cell M5 on sheet Program contains the number 4. If it isn't you should get "False".
