Pull Down List within Excel in Office 365

Is it possible to start typing within a field in Excel which has a pull down list associated with it from data validation and have it autofill?  I know you can do this by adding a pull down box within Developer, but it is then a floating box and is not associated with a cell itself.

    If you want to do it without VBA...

     

    Excel will naturally suggest values if you have memory of them ABOVE the current cell.

    Hello MorrisH1496,

     

    I am unaware of a way to autofill via a data validation drop-down, however, it is possible to autofill a column in a data table. Maybe this will be helpful for your situation?
