Pivot table and slicer loss
I submitted an assignment for my university about a month ago and have just realised that when I saved it, the pivot tables are now just normal tables and my slicers have disappeared, this is the case...
If you save a brand new Excel file, which file format does it suggest?
- I believe is was .xls from 2015 but don’t know why this would change previous saves and even the emails that I sent to myself before hand
- xls is an antiquated format that does not support slicers. Also it doesn't support the modern pivot tables. So that is the root cause of your issues.
- Would there be any way to revert it back
