Pivot Slicer Scroll-bars Not Working Right
New problem with the latest version of Excel (Feb 2018).
Pivot-Table SLICERS with a lot of data have scroll-bars to browse down the list. The more hidden data, the smaller the slider becomes. The problem is: the scroll-slider only highlights (takes focus) when the middle (not the point) of the arrow is over its mid-point. This makes it impossible to grab it to drag it down when the small slider of a slicer with lots of data is at the top. What happens is, the arrow at the top of the scrollbar accepts the focus from the tip of the cursor-pointer before the slider gets to the middle of the pointer. The slider can't get the focus and can't be dragged until it is some way down the scrollbar.
Particularly annoying at the top, as I say - but it's also awkward and non-intuitive to have to use the mid-point not the tip of the cursor arrow. The fixed parts of the scrollbar (track and top/bottom arrows) DO respond to the tip in the usual way. Weird or what!
