Online Word Doc Problem
Hi. Recently I noticed my online word doc in Edge is displaying in Russian, despite all settings everywhere are English. I restarted Edge, laptop, Word docs etc. Nothing changing this issue and nowhe...
Did you laptop managed by IT, btw, you may also check on below:
1. Check Edge’s language settings directly
- Click the three dots in the top-right corner of Edge → Settings
- Go to Languages
- Make sure English is listed at the top and set as the display language
- If not, click Add languages, choose English, and then click the three dots next to it → Display Microsoft Edge in this language
2. Clear browser cache and cookies
- Go to Settings → Privacy, search, and services
- Under Clear browsing data, click Choose what to clear
- Select Cookies and cached files, then clear them
3. Reset Edge to default settings
- Go to Settings → Reset settings → Restore settings to their default values
4. Check Microsoft 365 language settings
- Go to office.com and sign in
- Click your profile picture → My Account → Settings → Language and Region
- Make sure English is selected
