One time purchase 2022 Office Home Edition failed to activate

Since you purchased office home 2022 as a one time purchase, you should not need a microsoft 365 subscription.
Try these steps:
- Sign out of Office and sign back in with the same Microsoft account you used to activate Office.
- Check that your Office Home 2022 license is linked to your Microsoft account.
- Open any Office app and go to Help > Check for Updates (on Mac).
- If the issue continues, uninstall and reinstall Office from your Microsoft account.
If Office still asks for a Microsoft 365 subscription, it may be a licensing or activation issue, and you should contact Microsoft Support to restore your Office Home 2022 license.
