numbers taking up half my screen in Excel?

Hey guys, in trying to figure out what this is in Excel and I've searched to no avail. When I go to check my work schedule, almost half of my phone and even my PC's screen is taken up by these numbers that when I hit plus amd minus they take parts of the schedule away, but I'm only trying to read the spreadsheet not have this huge number group thing in the way. I am using the read only versions of Excel for both my phone and windows PC.

    The sheet in question has grouping applied to it. You can hide these symbols in File, Options, Advanced tab, but that would mean you can no longer expand or contract the groupings.
