Sam_Newton have you had a solution presented to you yet? I've lost hours of work already this morning with excel crashing. Felt like throwing my laptop out the window earlier!
Success!!!! Excel appears to be functional again.
The engineer has very kindly outlined the steps that we took and I've snipped them and inserted below. Please don't ask me any technical questions - they are unsure how the file became corrupted. Since there has been no trigger identified, I have requested the ticket be left open for a week while I monitor Excel. But, so far, so good!!
