MS Excel Template - scroll bar not appearing when outside date range
I downloaded this template; https://templates.office.com/en-us/Project-timeline-TM33545035
added activity dates.
the Timeline is not showing horizontal scroll bar as expected in the date range.

Couldn't see the scroll bar either when I opened your file. Studied the template to see what the scroll bar is actually doing. Could then insert a new scroll bar (via the "Developer" ribbon) and link it to a cell named "WindowOffset". This happens to be D26 in the hidden sheet "calcs".
Attached a new version of your workbook with the scroll bar in it.
Same issue here - displays OK when opened from within Excel.
