Match index function

Hi every body,
I am trying to convert multiple columns data into one column. Each column has 365 days values from 1980 to 2019. Now I want one column entry from 1-1-1980 to 31-12-2018. Can any body suggest me code or formula for this data conversion?

Thanks
Saleem
  • Hello,
    1. In the cell A1, type in 01/01/1980 and press CTRL + Enter to remain on cell A1
    2. Execute ALT + HFIS on the keyboard
    3. In the Series dialogue box, check Columns
    4. In the Stop value: type in 31/12/2018
    5. Click OK

See the attached picture. Let me now whether this answer your question

Thank you very much for your reply. I need values again each date from 1980 to 2018. As data in the columns are daily flow data from 1980 to 2018.

      Thanks.

You're welcome. If I get the second question clearly, you want to reference corresponding values based on the Dates? If yes,

Kindly use VLOOKUP... See the attached file
