Lost gridlines in 1 columb

i have the gridlines selected on my home tab for a monthly spread sheet. i see all the lines on the page but when i go to the print preview all the gridlines for the previous month(in this case March) disappear, I highlight the March column the grid lines box is checked but go to print and no gridlines appear, for just that column
